Title : Principal / Senior QA Engineer

Experience : 4 to 7 years

Location : Hyderabad

Work from office

  • K6 / Locust, Gatling, The Grinder
  • Test Automation using Cyprus, Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium

Role And Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal / Senior QA Engineer to lead quality engineering efforts, mentor team members, and ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and Performance testing, Agile development to define test strategies, implement automation, and drive continuous improvement across the QA process

  • Define and own the overall QA strategy, including automation, performance testing, and quality metrics.
  • Provide technical leadership to QA teams, guiding on tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers.

    • Test Planning & Execution :

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles.
  • Oversee execution of manual, automated, functional, and non-functional testing.
  • Manage defect tracking, reporting, and triaging processes.

    • Automation & Tools :

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
  • Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines.

    • Performance & Security :

  • Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing to validate system robustness.
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure vulnerability testing and compliance checks are in place.

    • Product non-functional testing :

  • Test all core new features
  • Release testing
  • Testing for high availability, chaos (fault injection)
  • Engine performance testing
  • Loading performance testing
  • Long-running instance testing

    • Cloud / Application :

  • GUI testing
  • Cloud backend testing
  • Cloud release test
  • Cloud frontend testing

    • Query Language :

  • GSQL syntax testing
  • Cypher syntax testing
  • GSQL / Cypher performance testing
  • Test all GSQL features
  • GSQL release tests
