Overview :
- We are seeking an experienced and creative Instructional Designer to join our team
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing effective customer learning solutions (videos, microlearning, eLearning, instructor-led content, visuals, certifications, etc) that meet the training needs of our organization
- The Instructional Designer will work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that drive product adoption and performance
In This Role, You Will :
Design and develop customer-centric training content, including instructional videos, microlearning, eLearning, certifications, and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) using proven instructional design methodologies to ensure maximum learning effectivenessDevelop high-quality customer-facing training videos (including visuals and effects) that align with our brand and key messages, using content authoring tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere ProUtilize technical and creative writing skills to write content that will engage course learnersDesign, develop, test, and evaluate content in consultation with a subject matter expert or facilitatorSelf-review and proofread work to ensure content meets high quality standardsCreate content using eLearning software, such as Articulate 360Collaborate and build strong relationships with colleagues, trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders across CventStay informed on instructional design best practices, industry standards, and trendsHeres What You Need :
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Technology, Education, or related field5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or related fieldKnowledge of content authoring tools such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience in designing and developing software-related training materialsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through all design stagesExcellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning standards such as SCORM and xAPIExperience using instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick's Model of EvaluationProficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, Creative, inquisitive, and coachable; open to constructive feedback and results orientedSkills Required
