Job description
Key Responsibilities :
Sales :
New Business Acquisition : Drive sales of vehicle finance products (including Commercial Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Auto Loans, and Refinance) by identifying new clients, dealers, and OEM partnerships.
Lead Generation & Conversion : Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into loan applications, ensuring the maximum business penetration in the assigned region.
Market Strategy Development : Develop and execute strategies for increasing business volumes and market share in the targeted zones.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, OEMs, and clients to foster repeat business and enhance customer loyalty.
Sales Training & Development : Train and guide sales teams on products, market trends, and strategies to enhance sales performance.
Credit :
Credit Assessment : Evaluate loan applications based on customers' creditworthiness, financial viability, and risk profiles, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and guidelines.
Credit Approvals : Approve or decline loan applications after thorough credit checks, including analyzing financial documents and understanding the customer's financial stability.
Portfolio Management : Monitor loan portfolios to assess the performance of existing clients and ensure minimal risk exposure.
Collaboration with Risk Team : Work closely with the Risk and Underwriting teams to ensure sound credit practices and mitigate any potential defaults.
Collections :
Collections Strategy Development : Develop and implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely recovery of dues from clients.
Customer Follow-up : Regularly communicate with customers to remind them of upcoming payments and follow up on overdue loans.
Problem Resolution : Handle escalations related to non-payment and coordinate with legal teams when necessary to resolve defaulting accounts.
Performance Monitoring : Track collection targets and work towards minimizing delinquency rates while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Reporting : Ensure that all collection activities comply with internal and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records for reporting purposes.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field. Additional certifications in finance or banking are a plus.
Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in Vehicle Finance, Sales, Credit, and Collections within an NBFC or banking environment.
Skills :
Strong knowledge of vehicle finance products (Commercial Vehicles, Auto Loans, Construction Equipment, Refinance).
Experience in managing a portfolio, conducting credit risk assessments, and handling collections.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with customers, dealers, OEMs, and internal teams.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using CRM and loan management systems.
Ability to develop sales strategies and implement them effectively.
