Description
We are seeking an Associate Engineer-Desktop Support to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our end-users, ensuring optimal performance of desktop systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and applications.
- Assist users with software applications and operating system issues.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates and backups.
- Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and solutions.
- Train users on new software and hardware technologies.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.2-5 years of experience in desktop support or related technical support role.Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of computer hardware components.Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues.Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management.Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Education
Diploma, Master in Computer Management (M.C.M), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Master in Computer Application (M.C.A), Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech / B.E)
