Senior Pricing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the Pre-contract Commercial Manager / Executive, pursuit and delivery teams where required.
• Support others in facilitating bid reviews and quality audits to minimise business risk and maximise performance
• Prepare bid pricing sheets, develop and maintain benchmarking information to support financial models, develop rate cards, provide pricing trends.
• Develop the WBS and deliverables in conjunction with delivery teams for bids
• Support with responding to third party auditors when required
• Support the Pre-contract Commercial Team with preparation of reports, legal documents and other correspondence and reports as required,
• Adhere to and advocate compliance to WSP's corporate governance, business system, quality and risk management requirements.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve the Commercial Team's processes,
• Provide general commercial support to the Commercial Pre-Contract Team as required
• Work with WSP broader business to have accurate cost and price information
• Develop, expand and maintain standard pricing templates for contracts and key clients
• Manage the historical pricing and benchmarking databases.
• Training to relevant internal commercial and bid teams where relevant.
• Provide monthly summary reports and commercial positions to management inclusive of capturing material departures from the standardised model and pricing in an auditable form.
