Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Execute equity and derivatives trades (Cash and F&O) for institutional clients , including domestic institutions and Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs)
  • Manage large trade executions and be well-versed in specialized market executions such as BLOCK deals, BULK deals, OFSS (Offer for Sale), BASKET orders , and Auction trades
  • Ensure real-time communication with clients, providing market updates , execution status, and assisting with market insights and reports
  • Coordinate EOD (End-of-Day) trade confirmations and ensure proper documentation and reporting
  • Participate in mock sessions and system testing as part of regulatory or internal requirements
  • Operate and manage Bloomberg EMSX routing system efficiently for trade executions and order management
  • Ensure compliance with all SEBI / NSE / BSE regulations and internal risk controls related to trading and order execution

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or a related field
  • NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives certification (mandatory)
  • 3–7 years of experience in institutional equity dealing
  • Deep understanding of Indian capital markets, including market microstructure and execution strategies
  • Experience in using trading platforms such as Omnesys, ODIN, Bloomberg EMSX
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure, time-sensitive trades
  • Attention to detail and adherence to compliance norms
