Key Objectives of the Collaboration Engineer Microsoft 365

Implementation : Implement, improve & support Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions for Material that

enable a modern Digital Workplace with exemplary architecture and user experience.

Collaboration & Knowledge Management : Encourage & facilitate knowledge management through Microsoft

365, ensuring our people are confident & proficient with the platform s capabilities.

Security : Ensure effective security measures are in place for all Microsoft 365 collaboration features, including

authentication, access & data control and alerts & investigations.

Operations : Drive automation, monitoring & troubleshooting for Materials Microsoft 365 collaboration

solutions. This person uses their best judgment to ensure this is delivered, minimizing manual hand-offs and

single points of failure and leveraging operations partners where appropriate.

Support : Ensure Digital Workplace solutions are delivered and transitioned to the Helpdesk team for ongoing

support. Provide guidance, mentorship, documentation, and training, acting as an escalation point for the

Help Desk team for Microsoft 365 collaboration-related queries.

Types of Work

Organizing Knowledge : Standardize & streamline work within Microsoft 365 s collaboration technologies

(Teams, SharePoint, PowerPlatform) to enhance content creation and emerging capabilities (e.g.

Generative AI)

Organizing Project Data : Improve project delivery by moving legacy project content towards standardized

Knowledge Management concepts (e.g Teams, Sites, Channels & Libraries).

Organizing Groups : Define & configure advanced security measures for Teams and Groups, including

access controls, audit logging, and threat detection to protect sensitive information.About you

Skills Required

A bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or

equivalent work experience.

5-7 years experience administering Microsoft 365 (i.e. SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform)

Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerAutomate, PNP, PowerShell).

Proven record of technical leadership on Modern Workplace projects with complex business requirements.

Strong analytical skills that translate business requirements into actionable items.

Strong communication and presentation skills that can convey complex technical concepts simply for non-

technical audiences.
