About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Lead to deliver testing services within the IT Shared Service Centre (VSS India) for various domains and countries in a telecommunications environment. The role involves preparing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts, ensuring platforms and services meet agreed milestones, cost, and quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience in managing software testing solutions in global, distributed teams and ideally hold ISTQB certification.

What you will do

• Review and approve newly developed automations before production deployment, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Maintain production environments using incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers as part of daily operations.
• Mentor and onboard junior team members in small groups.
• Monitor and report business line KPIs.
• Take full ownership of projects and releases within scope.
• Apply structured test methods across ST / SIT / Regression phases in complex Telco systems.
• Collaborate within cross-functional test teams in Agile / Safe models.
