We have an exciting opportunity in the Data Services team for an Software test Engineer _ ETL Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain test, data validation frameworks.
The Test Engineer will ensure stability of data pipelines and metadata management .
Provides technical support and address data-related issues for Product, Data and Design teams.
Knowledge / Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with an ability to effectively interface with both business partners and with technical staff.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work within timelines to meet project expectations.
- Strong client management, interpersonal and decision-making skills and competencies, attention to detail and the ability to be proactive, prudent and confident in pressure situations are a must.
Qualifications :
The candidate must have experience of the following :
Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science or related subject, 5 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Testing rolesCreate and validate database stored procedures along with possible outcomesProficiency in SQL Testing, with a strong emphasis on SnowflakeDB & API Test AutomationExperience with Microsoft SQL Server and SnowflakeBasic to Intermediate level with Java / Python Programming for test automationExperience on Test automation using UFT / SeleniumExecution of test using Jenkins or any other CICD platformUnderstanding of Data Driven Keyword or hybrid test automation frameworksWorking knowledge of cloud computing architecture / Azure / AWSHands on experience with GIT , Power BI reportingFamiliarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools like AirflowExperience communicating to both technical and business audiencesAbility to perform root cause analysis of existing models and propose effective solutionExperience working with Agile methodologies requiredEnsuring application security through the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Exceptional problem solving / analytical thinking and skillsTeamwork and collaborationResponsibilities :
Works in parallel with business SMEs and BA staff to create thorough, accurate and comprehensive SQL test queries and scriptsUpdate and maintain SQL scripts and test cases as application, business rule changesCreate appropriate standards and processes to ensure quality and consistency of data in the platformAnalyze, Organize and validate raw data to ensure accuracy and reliabilityCollaborate with data analytics experts and SMEs to enhance functionality and efficiency with our data ecosystem.Mandatory :
