Role Overview :
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Plant HR Generalist to manage the end-to-end Human Resources function at our Ambattur plant. This is a solo HR role , and the selected candidate will be the single point of contact for all HR activities, supporting both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- End-to-end recruitment for all plant-level roles (blue-collar & staff)
- Liaising with local contractors / labor vendors for manpower supply
- Conducting employee onboarding and induction sessions
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Addressing grievances of workmen and staff, ensuring timely resolutionDriving employee engagement initiatives and welfare activitiesMaintaining healthy industrial relations with contract workers and unions (if applicable)3. Payroll & Compliance
Coordinating with finance / vendor for timely payroll processingEnsuring compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, etc.)Managing statutory returns, inspections, and audits4. HR Operations
Maintaining employee records, attendance, leave managementPreparing HR MIS reports on a regular basisHandling documentation related to offer letters, confirmation, separation, etc.5. Performance & Training
Supporting performance management processesIdentifying training needs and organizing skill development sessionsQualifications & Skills :
Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 4 years of experience in Plant HR functions (preferably in a manufacturing setup)Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirementsExcellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsSelf-driven, proactive, and capable of working independentlyWhat We Offer :
