Position Summary :
We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Engineer to support our Processing Center (PC) operations. The role focuses on IT infrastructure setup and support, asset management, basic networking, and specialized systems like PLU machines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location retail / warehouse environment and deliver reliable IT support across various hubs and stores.
Key Responsibilities :
IT Infrastructure Management :
- Configure and deploy laptops / desktops with necessary OS and software (Windows / macOS).
- Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and related peripherals (remote / on-site).
- Maintain computing devices with periodic upgrades, patches, and fixes.
- Deliver on-site and remote IT support with quick turnaround time.
IT Asset Management :
Maintain updated inventory of all IT hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, network devices).Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.Support procurement processes ensuring cost-effective and compatible acquisitions.PLU Machine Support (Added Advantage) :
Install and configure PLU (Price Look-Up) machines.Perform label design, pricing updates, SKU additions, and hardware calibration.Coordinate with vendors for escalated support or parts replacement.Basic Networking :
Troubleshoot network issues IP conflicts, DHCP, DNS, connectivity problems.Monitor basic network performance and escalate advanced issues to the Network team.Apply foundational knowledge of TCP / IP and Wi-Fi configurations.Hub & Store IT Setup & Support :
Setup IT infrastructure for new hubs and offline stores as per standardized checklists.Provide remote support for issues across hubs and store locations.Support redundancy planning for IT operations in key locations.Cross-Team Collaboration :
Work closely with other IT functions (Networking, Asset Management, Operations) to resolve issues and ensure service continuity.Participate in organizational IT initiatives and upgrades.Service Delivery & Documentation :
Manage incident resolution and escalate critical issues.Document troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and update the IT knowledge base.Report performance metrics, incidents, and updates to leadership regularly.Required Qualifications & Skills :
Experience :
1- 3 years of experience in an IT support or field service role.Prior exposure to IT service desk tools (Jira, ME, etc.) preferred.Experience in a multi-site retail or warehouse setup is an added advantage.Technical Skills :
Proficient in Windows / macOS setup, troubleshooting.Understanding of hardware components and diagnostics.Basic networking skills TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP.Familiarity with IT asset tracking tools.PLU machine configuration knowledge is a strong plus.Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills verbal and written.Customer-focused mindset and ability to explain technical issues simply.Organized, self-driven, and collaborative.Education & Certifications :
