Corporate Lawyer

Key Responsibilities :

1. Provide strategic and practical legal advice on a wide range of general corporate and commercial

matters.

2. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, JV

agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and transactional documents.

3. Advise on business operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate

governance.

4. Represent clients in contract negotiations, and provide legal support in mediations and

arbitrations when required.

5. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support transactions and client advisory.

6. Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal

structuring, documentation, and closing.

7. Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies affecting

business operations.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to align legal guidance with business

objectives.

9. Stay abreast of legal and industry developments, ensuring advice remains current and

commercially relevant.

10. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and mentor junior lawyers as part of the wider legal

team.

Candidate Requirements :

• LLB from a premier law school; LLM is a plus.
• Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate legal team with

significant exposure to corporate advisory, commercial contracts, and M&A.
