Assistant Manager - Vehicle Test & Validation Engineer

Job Purpose :

We are seeking a Vehicle Test & Validation Engineer with a passion for motorcycles and a strong engineering background to join our PD Vehicle Testing team. This incumbent shall be responsible for DVP planning, executing, analyzing and validation activities to ensure motorcycles meet functional, performance, durability, and regulatory requirements. The engineer will collaborate closely with design, simulation, and manufacturing teams to drive product quality and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do :

• Develop and execute DVP for complete vehicle and subsystem (functional, performance, durability and regulatory test).
• Conduct road tests (Test track, lab, and field) to validate vehicle performance under various operating conditions.
• Vehicle instrumentation, and data acquisition setups for accurate measurements and analysis of performance data.
• Analyse test results and provide data driven feedback to design teams.
• Identify the vehicle related issues and propose corrective actions to improve reliability and durability.
• Support homologation and regulatory compliance testing in alignment with global standards.
• Manage external test agencies and suppliers for specialized validation activities.
• contribute to the development of test standards and continuous improvement of test processes.
• Ensure all activities follow quality, safety, and environmental standards.

What you'll bring :

Experience : 3 to 6 years’ experience in Vehicle Testing and Vehicle Dynamics

Qualification : BE / B Tech
