Role Overview As a Business Development Executive , you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and contributing directly to our growth. You'll work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure that prospects are nurtured toward signed deals and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Identify, research, and generate new leads (inbound + outbound) in target markets (e.g. SaaS, marketing teams, tech startups)
Reach out to decision-makers (Founders, CMOs, Heads of Growth) via email, LinkedIn, calls, and other channels
Qualify leads—understand pain points, budget, timeline, stakeholder landscape
Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations / walkthroughs (with support)
Craft proposals and pitches that articulate ROI, use cases, and alignment with client goals
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in collaboration with leadership
Manage and maintain pipeline in CRM (forecasting, stages, follow-ups)
Collaborate with marketing & product teams to refine messaging, go-to-market offers, and feedback loops
Track key metrics (conversion rates, sales cycle length, pipeline growth) and report to leadership
Qualifications & Skills Experience : 2–4 years in B2B / SaaS / tech / martech sales or business development (or equivalent)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in sales / BD roles
Experience in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, sales cycles
Comfortable doing consultative selling — having business conversations, digging into needs
Strong communication skills (verbal & written), presentation ability
Negotiation skills and a basic understanding of contract terms
Organized, process-driven, and metrics-minded
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
Bonus : experience with AI, automation, GTM workflows, or SaaS product demos
