Our mission is to empower individual investors with the right data, analytics, learnings, and stock advisory.

We want to add to our senior team an experienced Business Development Manager in Mumbai who will drive Growth and Revenue.

Overview :

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for building strategies, driving revenue, and executing collaborations.

This role requires a self-driven, target-oriented leader with experience in B2B sales and B2B2C subscription businesses.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and nurture professional networks with industry leaders, clients, and key decision-makers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Prepare impactful presentations, sales proposals, and business reports using PowerPoint, Excel, and other tools to support client acquisition and retention.
  • Manage end-to-end consumer sales cycles, with a focus on subscription-based models, renewals, upselling, and customer lifetime value optimization.
  • Engage with prospects and existing clients through professional email and verbal communication to ensure high-quality brand representation.
  • Analyze sales performance data, prepare dashboards, and share insights with leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets in high-pressure, target-driven environments while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and operations) to design and execute business growth strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance market visibility and brand positioning.

Skills & Competencies :

  • Networking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including PPT, Excel, and email skills
  • Understanding of consumer sales cycles and subscription-based models
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, target-driven environments
  • Qualifications : MBA in Marketing or a related field Minimum 5-8 years of business development / sales experience, ideally in fintech, edtech, financial services, or subscription-based businesses.

    b) Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, with exposure to B2C+B2B2C sales and subscription growth.
