We are seeking a Mechanical Sales Engineer with 5-6 years of experience in the manufacturing or project-based industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering, hands-on experience with client interactions, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets in industrial segments such as automotive, steel, hardware, aerospace, and related sectors.
Responsibilities :
- Independently prepare proposals, BOQs, costing sheets, and final price sheets for customers.
- Visit clients to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings effectively.
- Interact independently with end-client decision makers, including senior management and owners.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Articulate the company's value proposition and solutions to clients clearly.
- Gather market intelligence on key developments and competition and report to the head office.
- Achieve and exceed yearly sales targets, typically handling direct sales of INR 15-20 Crores.
- Interface between client requirements and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Travel regionally or domestically up to 50% of the time.
