We are seeking a proactive and skilled Service Engineer to be our frontline support, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to our business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, with a proven ability to work independently in a field-based role. This position involves managing all on-site service activities, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Service : You will attend to breakdown calls , perform equipment installations, and complete scheduled preventive maintenance . This includes handling parts requests and closing transactions under warranty or as chargeable services.
- Customer Engagement : You will promote service contracts and consumables , demonstrate products, and provide training to customers. Your ability to build strong relationships will be key to success.
- Sales Support : Identify potential parts and equipment requirements to generate service leads for the sales team . You will submit quotes and ensure the collection of purchase orders.
- Documentation & Coordination : Update all service reports in Oracle . The role requires strong coordination with other departments to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Qualifications
Experience : A minimum of 3+ years of field service experience is required.Education : A Diploma or Engineering degree in any stream.Skills :The ability to work well independently and prioritize a demanding workload.Strong analytical skills to diagnose and provide solutions for technical problems.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.The initiative to establish new processes and a strong ability to multitask.Language : Familiarity with the local language is essential for effective communication with customers.Skills Required
