Area Sales Manager

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Area Sales Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling medical products, equipment, and services to hospitals, health systems, doctors' offices, and clinics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device sales, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities :

• Appoint distributors in the assigned territory
• Conduct cold calls and visit prospects on location
• Set appointments with hospital staff and administrators
• Manage leads and customers within the defined territory
• Build and nurture relationships with hospital staff
• Educate medical professionals on the benefits of medical devices
• Provide product demonstrations and support
• Place replenishment orders at existing accounts
• Maximize profits through upselling and cross-selling additional products
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to enhance customer experience
• Collect, analyze, and present field sales data to assist with strategy planning and implementation

Preferred Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years experience in wound care segment. Experience in NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) is highly desirable.
