Job Description :
The Manager - Home Products is responsible for the sales, distribution, and profitability of a company's home insurance products. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales executives or channel partners, and building a strong presence in the market for products such as home, fire, and content insurance. The manager will work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure the offerings are competitive and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive the growth of home insurance products.
- Team Leadership : Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Channel Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners, including real estate agents, brokers, and direct sales channels.
- Product Knowledge : Act as a subject matter expert on home insurance products, providing training and support to the sales team and partners.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitive trends.
- Reporting : Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis, and market insights for senior management.
- Customer Satisfaction : Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and smooth policy issuance and claims Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- An MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the general insurance sector.
- Experience in selling home, property, or related insurance products is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and achieve business objectives
