About the Role
This role is positioned within the Facilities Management (FM) vertical of one of Sodexo’s key segments . As a strategic advisor and relationship manager, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in aligning people strategies with business and group objectives. The HRBP partners with business leaders to drive talent development, support organizational growth, and ensure effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and client management—especially during new contract acquisitions and ongoing operations.
Role requires frequent travel across India to support business operations and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- People Strategy & Talent Development - Lead the design and execution of the people agenda for the FM vertical.
- Drive talent management initiatives including succession planning, career development, and leadership pipeline building.
- Identify critical roles and high-potential talent; support development and calibration processes with clear timelines.
- Business Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness - Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people-related decisions and organizational design.
- Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) team to support growth through strategic workforce planning and competitive labor cost modeling.
- Represent HR during bids and RFPs, serving as the HR face to clients and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Employee Engagement & Change Management - Champion cultural transformation and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Build strong partnerships with employees and managers to drive change and enhance organizational culture.
- Operational HR Excellence - Support regional and operations HR teams in managing client-specific requirements and ongoing account needs.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to forecast hiring needs, support recruitment for key roles, and ensure seamless onboarding and induction.
- Governance, Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
- Educate stakeholders on evolving HR trends and lead policy enhancements to support business agility and compliance
- Resource Optimization & Collaboration - Maximize the effectiveness of HR delivery resources across business units and divisions.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to leverage economies of scale and drive consistent HR service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field8–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a matrixed or service-oriented industryExperience in Facilities Management, Integrated Services, or similar industries is strongly preferredProven experience in business partnering, talent development, and client-facing HR rolesMust be open to frequent travel across India to support business operations and client engagements
