Title : L3 Support Lead - Java, SQL, Maven

Experience : 7+ years

Location : Pune, Hyderabad & Bangalore

Domain : Banking

NP : Short Joiner within 20 days

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive L3 Support Engineer to join our technical operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, SQL, and Maven, and will be responsible for managing deployment activities, packaging, and patching in a production environment. This role demands deep technical troubleshooting, collaboration with development and infrastructure teams, and a commitment to maintaining system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide L3-level support for Java-based applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to application performance, data integrity, and system errors.
  • Manage and execute deployment activities across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).
  • Handle application packaging and release management using Maven and related tools.
  • Apply patches and updates to applications and environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Maintain documentation for deployment processes, support resolutions, and patching schedules.
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues.

Required Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and Maven.
  • Experience with application deployment, packaging, and patching in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
  • Good understanding of Linux / Unix systems and shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
