Role Overview - We are seeking a dynamic Air Freight Pricing and Operations Head to lead our air freight division. The role involves driving pricing strategies, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing vendor and customer relations, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and leadership skills with in-depth knowledge of air freight processes.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

Develop and implement competitive air freight pricing strategies aligned with market trends.
Manage day-to-day air freight operations ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular market analysis to evaluate competitor pricing, demand trends, and business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, vendors, and key customers.
Monitor budgetary targets and ensure cost optimization without compromising service quality.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the air freight team to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in all operations.
Drive continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align pricing and operations with overall business goals.
Provide periodic reports and insights to management on performance, cost, and market trends.

Required Skills and Competencies :

Strong expertise in air freight pricing and operational management.

Proven ability to develop pricing models and strategies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for market and cost analysis.

Effective team management and leadership capabilities.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.

Familiarity with air freight regulations and compliance requirements.

Master's / Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
