About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to lead brand equity, strategy, and execution for Emami Ltd’s Consumer Care Division. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end brand management – from positioning and proposition to campaigns, budgets, and P&L ownership.

Your responsibilities will include :

Brand Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute brand strategies in alignment with corporate and marketing objectives.

Define brand proposition, positioning, pricing, packaging, and promotions.

Lead ATL & BTL planning and execution to deliver value propositions effectively.

P&L & Budget Management

Manage brand P&L including media plans, trade plans, and consumer experience initiatives.

Develop annual brand budgets and track expenditures against plan.

Cross-functional & Agency Collaboration

Work with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Communication teams to support brand requirements.

Partner with advertising, media, and research agencies for brand campaigns and media planning.

Market Development & Insights

Support new product development (NPD) by working closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define launch strategies, and ensure effective go-to-market execution.

Drive market entry strategies for untapped geographies based on intelligence and research.

Monitor competitor activity, conduct retail audits, and analyze brand performance.

Conceive and implement trade promotions, consumer activations, and PR activities.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

Provide strategic guidance to Brand Managers / ABMs in developing marketing plans and executions.

Ensure capability development and training for team members.

Promote a performance-driven culture within the brand team.

What we are looking for?

Post Graduate Diploma / MBA in Marketing from a premier B-school.

7–10 years of experience in Marketing with at least 2–3 years in a similar senior brand role.

Proven expertise in brand strategy, consumer marketing, ATL / BTL planning, and P&L management.

Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Media & Branding Expertise : Strong knowledge of ATL, BTL, PR, and promotional campaigns.

Analytical Skills : Ability to interpret market intelligence and retail audits to guide decisions.

Leadership & Communication : Capable of guiding teams, aligning stakeholders, and inspiring execution.

Result Orientation : Track record of meeting brand growth, profitability, and equity objectives.
