Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (Hunter) to drive new client acquisition and expand our footprint in the IT Staffing and Solutions market. The ideal candidate has a strong hunter mentality, thrives in a target-driven environment, and possesses a proven ability to sell IT Staff Augmentation, Solutions, or Software Services to enterprise clients.
Key Requirements :
Proven Experience : 2–5 years of successful experience selling IT Staff Augmentation, IT Solutions, or Software Products in a fast-paced environment.
Industry Exposure : Prior experience working with leading IT Staffing, Consulting, or Solutions firms serving Fortune 1000 clients.
Client Engagement : Strong experience presenting IT service capabilities to IT Managers, Directors, and VPs, and converting them into long-term clients.
Sales Achievements : Demonstrated track record of acquiring new clients and meeting / exceeding sales targets.
Hunter Mindset : Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for new business acquisition.
Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Analytical Ability : Strong problem-solving, prospect qualification, and opportunity assessment skills.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Core Responsibilities :
Lead Generation : Identify, prospect, and engage new clients from target lists and through self-generated leads, cold calls, and networking efforts.
Client Acquisition : Drive sales of IT Staffing services, Managed Solutions, and Project-based engagements (onsite / offshore).
Relationship Building : Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and build long-term strategic relationships.
Sales Execution : Conduct discovery meetings, present tailored solutions, and respond to RFPs / RFIs / RFQs to win new business.
Negotiation & Closing : Negotiate contract terms, rates, and agreements to align with company profitability goals.
Collaboration : Work closely with Technical Recruiters and Delivery Managers to ensure successful placement and client satisfaction.
Account Management : Oversee consultant performance at client sites and maintain ongoing communication to ensure service excellence.
Market Intelligence : Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies.
Networking : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional associations to enhance visibility and develop leads.
Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records in CRM, forecast monthly goals, and track business outcomes against KPIs.
