About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, managing key client relationships, and expanding our market presence across key verticals.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT solutions landscape and a proven track record of success in B2B corporate sales. You will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies, generating leads, and securing new business to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal, including presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our products and services, educating potential and existing customers on the value and benefits of our IT solutions.
  • Travel extensively within the designated territory (Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi NCR and surrounding regions) to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct in-person presentations.
  • Utilize and maintain accurate records in our CRM system to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and forecast sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical specialists, to create compelling sales collateral and proposals.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to help inform product development and sales strategies.

Qualifications and Skills :

Required (Mandatory) :

  • Experience : 5-10+ years of experience in outside sales, with a strong preference for candidates from the IT domain.
  • Business Acumen : A complete understanding of the B2B corporate sales landscape, with demonstrable expertise in verticals such as BFSI, IT, and Manufacturing.
  • Track Record : A proven history of managing key accounts, driving growth through client retention, partner acquisition, and effective lead generation.
  • Network : An existing, well-developed network of C-level contacts within the targeted regions.
  • Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of IT solutions, services, and emerging technology trends.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Mobility : Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
  • Tool Proficiency : Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education : A postgraduate degree in Management (MBA or equivalent).
