Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage our sales operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the FMCG food sector , with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in spices / masala products .

Key Responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory (Chennai and nearby markets).
• Handle distributor and retailer network expansion and management.
• Develop sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Lead and mentor a team of Territory Sales Officers / Executives.
• Plan and execute trade promotions, new product launches, and retail visibility initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends; provide timely feedback to the management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Submit regular reports and analysis on territory performance.
