About the Role :
As a Manager in Software Engineering, you will lead a team of developers building critical platform capabilities aligned with business strategy. You’ll be responsible for building high-performing software teams, mentoring engineers, ensuring code quality, and delivering world-class software. This role requires strong collaboration across IT, engineering, and cross-functional business domains. You will also play a pivotal part in coaching development best practices, managing team performance, and supporting enterprise platform quality.
What You’ll Do :
Manage and mentor a team of 15+ software developers with focus on performance, growth, and delivery
Provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support career development
Lead software quality and architecture standards across development teams
Drive improvements in development practices including tooling, processes, and security
Ensure timely delivery of development tasks and business capabilities
Manage external vendor relationships and influence product roadmap requirements
Support hiring of qualified team members and augment with contract resources as needed
Foster collaboration with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and platform owners
Support BI and analytics development aligned with business and architecture goals
Champion continuous improvement in engineering efficiency and code quality
What You’ll Bring :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
4–7 years of experience in software / analytics / business intelligence development
1–2 years managing teams of 15 or more engineers
Hands-on experience with : Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS); Data platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, SAP HANA; SharePoint, analytics and BI tools
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficient in software documentation and end-to-end development lifecycles
Ability to analyze, design, and deliver scalable, quality software solutions
Experience managing development in cross-functional, Agile environments
Passion for mentoring, coaching, and building strong engineering teams
Must Have Skills :

Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Technical knowledge in database platforms and business intelligence
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to think critically and solve technical challenges
