You’ll be responsible for building high-performing software teams, mentoring engineers, ensuring code quality, and delivering world-class software. This role requires strong collaboration across IT, engineering, and cross-functional business domains. You will also play a pivotal part in coaching development best practices, managing team performance, and supporting enterprise platform quality.What You’ll Do : Manage and mentor a team of 15+ software developers with focus on performance, growth, and deliveryProvide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support career developmentLead software quality and architecture standards across development teamsDrive improvements in development practices including tooling, processes, and securityEnsure timely delivery of development tasks and business capabilitiesManage external vendor relationships and influence product roadmap requirementsSupport hiring of qualified team members and augment with contract resources as neededFoster collaboration with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and platform ownersSupport BI and analytics development aligned with business and architecture goalsChampion continuous improvement in engineering efficiency and code qualityWhat You’ll Bring : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline4–7 years of experience in software / analytics / business intelligence development1–2 years managing teams of 15 or more engineersHands-on experience with : Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS); Data platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, SAP HANA; SharePoint, analytics and BI toolsStrong leadership and communication skillsProficient in software documentation and end-to-end development lifecyclesAbility to analyze, design, and deliver scalable, quality software solutionsExperience managing development in cross-functional, Agile environmentsPassion for mentoring, coaching, and building strong engineering teamsMust Have Skills : Overall IT Experience / Managerial SkillsStrong leadership and team development capabilitiesTechnical knowledge in database platforms and business intelligenceExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to think critically and solve technical challengesEffective at planning, structuring team goals, and tracking executionStrong understanding of Agile / DevOps practicesFamiliarity with enterprise environments and compliance expectations
