Refex - Head - Mining

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our leadership team as Head - Mining. The ideal candidate will have 15 to 20 years of hands-on experience in Overburden (OB) Removal and Mine Developer and Operator (MDO) works. This role will be based in Chennai and will be responsible for overseeing operations across multiple mining sites pan India.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage end-to-end mining operations across multiple sites in India.
• Plan, execute, and monitor OB removal and MDO projects ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations at all mining sites.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for seamless coordination.
• Drive operational excellence and implement best practices in mining operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of mining professionals and support staff.
• Develop strategic plans for mining expansion and resource Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• 15 to 20 years of proven experience in mining operations, specifically in OB removal and MDO projects.
• Strong understanding of mining regulations, safety, and environmental norms.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to mine locations across India as Office - Chennai (with frequent travel to mine sites)
