Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer with strong Azure experience to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based (Azure) server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016 / 2019 / 2022).
  • Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).
  • Manage server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
  • Provide L3 / L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.
  • Work with vendors and other teams for issue resolution and implementation support.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE)
  • Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, PRTG, SCOM)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices
  • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
