Responsibilities
- Lead generation and qualification : Research and identify new potential customers, and qualify them based on criteria like budget, need, and authority to ensure they are a good fit.
- Customer communication : Make outbound calls, send personalized emails, and connect via social media to engage with potential and existing clients. Handle inbound sales inquiries in a timely manner.
- Sales process management : Manage the entire sales cycle, from the initial contact to closing the deal. Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track all interactions and activities.
- Product expertise : Maintain a deep, comprehensive knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively explain features, benefits, and competitive advantages to prospects. Training will be provided on product domain by the company.
- Demonstrations and presentations : Conduct virtual product demos and presentations to showcase a product's value proposition and how it can solve the customer's pain points.
- Negotiation and closing : Overcome client objections, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and finalize sales agreements.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to align on messaging and campaigns, and coordinate with outside sales or account managers on larger accounts.
- Reporting : Track sales activities and provide regular reports on metrics, such as leads generated and conversion rates, to inform and improve sales strategies.
Required skills and qualifications
Strong communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for remote interactions, as is active listening to understand customer needs.Technical proficiency : Expertise in using sales tools, such as CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), video conferencing platforms, and sales automation software.Negotiation skills : The ability to negotiate effectively to find a mutually beneficial solution for both the company and the customer.Goal-oriented and resilient : The persistence to make numerous calls and overcome rejection while staying motivated to meet and exceed sales targets.Problem-solving : The capacity to analyze a client's needs and propose creative, tailored solutions.Time management : Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage a pipeline of multiple prospects simultaneously.Education and experience : Any bachelor's degree. B. Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Food Technology will be preferred. Previous experience in a similar industry or good sales experience will be added advantage.
