Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of all day-to-day administrative operations at our institute's offline campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing security, housekeeping, maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management : Oversee daily operations of hostels, mess, and facility services (security, housekeeping, maintenance, pantry, and administration) ensuring adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and hygiene standards.
- Team & Vendor Coordination : Supervise and train housekeeping, maintenance, security, and mess staff; manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
- Resident Experience : Ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and food quality; address student concerns promptly and organize engagement activities to enhance resident experience.
- Process & Compliance : Implement best practices to improve efficiency; develop preventive maintenance schedules; ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring & Reporting : Track key performance metrics, maintain records (maintenance logs, vendor contracts, safety checks), and prepare periodic reports for management.
Key Requirements
3–6 years of proven experience in Facility Management, Hostel / PG Operations, or Hospitality Administration.Strong knowledge of facility operations including housekeeping, maintenance, security, and F&B / mess services.Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with safety, compliance, and facility management tools / software.Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.Skills Required
