We are seeking an experienced Project / Program Manager to lead complex software programs within the financial services domain. The role will partner with business, technology, and compliance teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions that drive business growth, enhance platform reliability, and meet strict regulatory standards. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, program management discipline, and financial industry awareness.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Program Ownership :
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of programs—spanning architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch operations.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership :
  • Coordinate across technology / engineering, product management, security, compliance, Release and QA to ensure successful delivery of projects / initiatives.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Alignment :
  • Ensure all programs adhere to financial regulations and integrate compliance checkpoints into the development lifecycle.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Understand system design, APIs, data architecture, and financial transaction workflows to make informed trade-offs and decisions.
  • Risk & Dependency Management :
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical and operational risks that could impact program success.
  • Stakeholder Communication :
  • Provide clear, concise updates on timelines, budgets, and milestones to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement through waterfall, agile best practices, sprint retrospectives, and metrics-driven delivery.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination :
  • Manage relationships with external technology vendors, partners when applicable.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in technical program or project management within software or fintech environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (Azure).
  • Demonstrated experience managing programs related to digital payments, core banking systems, or data analytics platforms.
  • Excellent command of SDLC, waterfall, iterative, agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Sharepoint, Planview and Power BI.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agile is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with financial standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and ITGC.
  • Experience leading distributed or cross-regional technology and engineering teams.

  • Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • This position includes :

    This position will have primary responsible as an individual contributor for the management of a strategic initiative who has primary accountability to business partners and other parties for project planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation, readiness, and reporting of several large and significant project or medium to large programs (typically up to $25M) where scope is subject to change, contains significant complexity, and significant risk, substantial number of resources, and complex organizational change issues that support complex enterprise or strategic corporate goals. May partner with the business to develop road maps, in every case, project / program objectives address complex business goals or accountable for the proper prioritization, funding and sequencing of projects / programs. The projects / programs will span multiple IT and / or business areas and will likely require the integral involvement of a solutions provider. Accountable to manage and monitor project tasks and controls during portfolio planning, project planning, and delivery activities to ensure on-time and quality outcomes are met within scope and budget. Work with a high degree of autonomy and apply expert / leading project and program management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications, presentations to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.

  • 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM EST.
  • 6 : 30PM to 3 : 30 AM IST.
