About the Role : Job Summary

The PMO Specialist will support the Sr. IT Ops Manager in managing the operational, financial, and contractual aspects of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) engagements. This includes overseeing vendor contracts, tracking project allocations, managing budgets, and handling supplier invoice workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Maintain and track SRE vendor contracts, renewals, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement and legal teams for timely contract execution and updates.
  • Monitor contract deliverables and ensure alignment with performance metrics.

Project Allocation & Resource Planning

  • Maintain a centralized view of SRE resource allocations across projects.
  • Collaborate with project leads to forecast resource needs and adjust allocations.
  • Track utilization and availability of SREs to optimize deployment and reduce idle time.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight

  • Monitor and report on budget consumption for SRE-related activities.
  • Support forecasting and financial planning for SRE engagements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and flag budget risks proactively.
  • Supplier Invoice Tracking & Approvals

  • Track supplier invoices related to SRE services and ensure timely processing.
  • Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for invoice validation and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoice status, payment schedules, and budget impact.
  • Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare dashboards and reports on contract status, resource utilization, budget health, and invoice tracking.
  • Support governance meetings with data-driven insights and documentation.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational PMO standards and compliance requirements.
  • About the Candidate :

    Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of IT operations and SRE principles.
  • Experience in contract lifecycle management and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial tracking, and invoice management tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus.
