Job Description – Chartered Accountant
Role Objective :
To manage and oversee financial planning, accounting, compliance, taxation, and project-level financial reporting for real estate development projects, ensuring accurate reporting, statutory compliance, and effective financial control.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts as per accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare MIS reports, project-wise costing, and financial dashboards for management.
- Handle consolidation of accounts for group entities and JV projects.
- Monitor receivables and payables, ensuring healthy ca sh flow management.
2. Project Finance & Cost Control
Prepare project cost sheets, budget vs. actual analysis, and profitability reports.Monitor project expenditures, vendor payments, and contractor billing verification.Support in fund flow planning for construction and sales-linked activities.3. Taxation & Compliance
Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA compliance, and liaison with authorities.Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory audits.Handle tax assessments, scrutiny, and statutory queries.4. Treasury & Fund Management
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for loans, working ca pital, and project funding.Manage loan documentation, interest ca lculations, and repayment schedules.Monitor escrow accounts and ensure compliance with RERA & lender requirements.5. Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for smooth closure of audits.Implement strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets.Review and strengthen accounting processes and ERP systems.6. Business Support & Advisory
Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.Support land acquisition, JV structuring, and investor presentations.Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, RERA, GST, and Income Tax .Experience in project accounting, costing, and fund flow management .Proficiency in ERP / accounting software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.) .Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Good communication and stakeholder management skills.Qualifications & Experience :
Chartered Accountant ( CA ) – Mandatory.3–8 years of post-qualification experience (preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure).Experience in handling multiple projects and group companies will be an added advantage.Skills Required
