Role : DSP Software Engineer
Location : Bangalore
About the Role :
As a DSP Software Engineer, you will be working on software products that will be developed on OEM IVI / HU and amplifiers. Products typically consist of microcontrollers, SoC, for configuration, communication and control and a DSP processor for audio processing.
Software development involves working with complex, multi-threaded, multi-processor or multi-core architectures and audio frameworks to integrate DSP algorithms and control structures.
What You Will Do :
- Customize and integrate audio DSP algorithms for the automotive environment within complex, multi-threaded, multi-processor architectures and audio frameworks
- Port DSP algorithms to various processors / platforms and make use of available resources, peripherals, accelerators, compiler features, etc
- Definition and design of audio signal flows and software architectures using SW platform components
- Develop production ready software following a defined software development process
- Estimate processing resources including MIPS, ROM and RAM and optimize individual algorithms and total system performance
What You Need :
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent2-5 years of embedded software development3+ years of C++ / C or other structured language2+ years of experience in the DSP and preferably in the audio field Experience developing consumer productsDeep knowledge of filtering, audio processing / post processing, noise control algorithms in both time and frequency domainsStrong understanding of DSP frameworks and how individual DSP algorithms interface and interact with each other, the control software and tool interfaces in an optimized wayExperience with digital communication protocols in multiprocessor environment : I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, A2BSkills Required
