Overview

Core Responsibilities :

  • Orchestration and Automation : Automate service activation and management across different network domains, vendors, and layers.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving : Diagnose and resolve network and service issues, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitoring and Visualization : Utilize tools to monitor network performance and correlate service issues with network events.
  • Data Collection and Analysis : Gather and analyze data from network devices and systems to identify trends and root causes.
  • Tool Development : Potentially develop or enhance tools for monitoring, data collection, and automation.
  • Communication and Collaboration : Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and collaborate with global teams.

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience :

Technical Skills :

  • Strong Linux skills and scripting experience (e.g., Python, Shell Scripting).
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and network management solutions (OSS / BSS).
  • Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., SNMP, Syslog, ICMP, SSH).
  • Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Neo4j, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of Blue Planet products (BPI, BPO, ROA).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with a globally distributed team.

    • Requirements

    Specific Knowledge :

  • Understanding of network architecture and technologies.
  • Knowledge of service orchestration principles.
  • Experience with Blue Planet MDSO or similar orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with network automation tools and techniques.

    • Educational Requirements :

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA, Python certifications) are a plus.
