Position Overview : The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who excels at building strong client partnerships, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the overall business strategy. The BDM will work closely with various internal teams to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions, while consistently meeting or exceeding set sales and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities : 1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in the water industry, piping, tanks, or industrial components .
- Familiarity with piping, pumps, RCC tanks, SMC tanks, water treatment, or related segments .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Must be comfortable with client meetings , field visits , and open to travel .
- Strong understanding of industrial / B2B products and customer pain points.
- Self-driven , goal-oriented, and target-focused individual.
- Ability to manage long-term relationships with OEMs, contractors, or consultants.
Responsibilities :
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned sectors or regions.Identify and acquire new business opportunities from industrial clients.Conduct client meetings , site visits, and present tailored product solutions .Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations .Collaborate with the internal technical, production, and logistics teams.Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets .Attend industry events, expos, and networking platforms .Preferred Background :
B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical / Civil) or graduate with relevant industry knowledge.Experience working with OEMs, contractors, EPC companies, or infra consultants .Prior exposure to products like industrial tanks, pipelines, WTP / ETP systems , etc.Education :
B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical / Civil / Chemical (Preferred)Diploma – Mechanical / Civil / Industrial (Also considered)MBA / PGDM – Marketing / Sales (Preferred for BDM roles)Candidates with technical background and strong industrial sales experience will be prioritized.Education
