Description :
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will be a key leader responsible for end-to-end Supply Chain Management, Operations, Service Delivery, and Sales Monitoring. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational expertise with a strategic mindset, data-driven decision-making, and financial acumen (especially credit management). The AGM will play a crucial role in streamlining processes, driving efficiency, and implementing best-in-class systems and SOPs across functions.
Key Responsibilities :
Supply Chain Management
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management.
- Ensure timely availability of batteries, components, and spare parts to support sales and service operations.
- Optimize supply chain costs through vendor negotiations, demand forecasting, and inventory planning. Manage OEMs and suppliers to maintain product quality and reliability. Implement digital tools for supply chain visibility, tracking, and analytics.
Operations Management
Lead day-to-day operational activities for battery sales, deployment, and retrieval.Optimize resource allocation and process flow to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.Ensure alignment between operational goals and company objectives. Drive process automation and data-led decision-making to enhance scalability and transparency.Service & Customer Experience
Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction across all operational touchpoints.Establish preventive and corrective maintenance systems for batteries and equipment.Develop and monitor service-level KPIs (TAT, uptime, resolution rate, etc.).Coordinate with technical teams to enhance product reliability and service support.Sales Monitoring & Business Support
Track and analyze sales performance across channels, geographies, and customer segments.Support the business development team by aligning supply and operations with sales demand.Prepare analytical dashboards and performance reports for management review. Work closely with finance to optimize pricing, leasing models, and profitability.Credit & Financial Oversight
Assess customer creditworthiness and support decision-making on credit limits and payment terms. Monitor collections, overdue accounts, and credit exposure to mitigate financial risk.Collaborate with finance and risk teams to strengthen credit control frameworks.Strategy, Data Analytics & SOP Implementation
Drive strategic initiatives to improve operational excellence and business growth. Use data analytics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Design and implement SOPs across supply chain, operations, and service functions to ensure standardization and compliance. Continuously review processes to enhance productivity and scalability.Technology Enablement
Work with internal tech / product teams to digitize operations, logistics, and service monitoring.Leverage IoT, ERP, and analytics platforms for performance tracking and predictive maintenance.Promote a technology-first culture across operational teams.Key Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management. MBA preferred.
Experience : 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations / Service Management, ideally in EV, Battery, Leasing, Renewable Energy, or Automotive sectors.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management Systems (SCM, ERP).Proficiency in Data Analytics & Visualization Tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL).Experience with IoT platforms, digital monitoring tools, and CRM systems.Core Competencies :
