Key Responsibilities
As a Teacher at St Brigid’s School, you will :
Work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, and parents / caregivers to facilitate positive learning by students and engage in educational reform.Design, plan and deliver high-quality teaching that aligns with the school's curriculum and educational standards.Possess a deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Crossways and utilise contemporary and engaging pedagogies which promote high levels of engagement and quality outcomes for all learners.Design differentiated and inclusive learning programs where data informs practice in your teaching.Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student growth.Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.Employ behaviour management strategies which ensure a safe, orderly, and successful learning environment.Establish and maintain collaborative and supportive professional relationships with staff, students, and families.Communicate effectively to build positive partnerships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community.Have an excellent understanding and use of inclusive practices, Trauma-aware practices and effective strategies to assist students to self-regulate and develop skills of personal responsibility and positive well-being.We’re looking for someone with :
Sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogies to promote learning for students.A professional, efficient, qualified educator, with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.An energetic, positive, and dynamic demeanour who is committed to working collaboratively in our school.Ability to establish highly engaging learning environments in and out of the classroom.Excellent organisational skills with ability to problem solve and ensure required timelines are met.Ability to utilise contemporary and engaging pedagogies to promote high levels of engagement and quality outcomes for all learners.Qualifications and Training :
