Key Responsibilities
- Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity of our school and demonstrate a commitment to the charism of St Eugene DeMazenod.
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and utilise contemporary evidence based pedagogies to promote engagement and success for learners.
- Demonstrate highly developed skills and knowledge in designing inclusive learning programs that meet the specific needs of all learners.
- Assess, record and report learner achievement.
- Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively within a professional learning community and develop positive relationships within a Year Level team, with staff, students and families.
- Employ Positive Behaviour Intervention & Support strategies which ensure a safe, orderly and successful productive learning environment that caters for the wellbeing of all learners including the implementation of Restorative Practices to develop self-regulation and personal responsibility.
- Be a dynamic educator, with a sense of humour and love of teaching, who is committed to ongoing professional learning.
About You
Actively support the Catholic dimension of our schoolHold a valid teaching qualification and relevant post-graduate qualification in EducationWell-developed communication skills to build and maintain respectful relationships with all members of the school community.Deep commitment to inclusion and strong understanding of the processes involved in supporting students to have agency in their learning.Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Intervention & Support program and the ability to promote student responsibility and self-regulation.Exhibit strong and effective organisational skills to manage diverse responsibilities including assessment & reporting schedules and staff professional formation.Are you following us on LinkedIn & Facebook?
