KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – MT

Job Responsibilities :

Initiate, launch and develop business for all products of company in Modern Trade across assigned geographies.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in MT to drive business growth and meet sales targets.

Develop a growth framework by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities and devising actionable plans to capitalize on untapped market potentials.

Lead the collaboration with customers for successful new product launches, ensuring effective planning, execution and visibility for the products.

Lead negotiations and manage annual contractual agreements & JBPs to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships with all customers.

Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute shopper marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and sales. Designing and execute quarterly & annual consumer activation calendars for brick and mortar stores.

Manage the day-to-day operations related to servicing of all customers, fulfilment of orders, fill rates, avoidance of stock outs, ageing of stocks and timely receipt of payments and present reports.

Analyze sales data, track important performance metrics and derive actionable insights to optimize sales strategies and product placements to drive growth.

Forecasting and stock planning with supply chain teams. Anticipate demand, manage inventory levels effectively, and prevent stock outs or overstock situations.

Develop holistic understanding of market trends, and track competition activities w.r.t. product, pricing, trade & brand promotions offered, credit facilities, new launches in the territory and timely feedback to the management.

Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met.

Propose new products using relevant data sources and tracking performance post launch

Required Skills :

MBA with a specialization in Sales and Marketing from a prestigious institute.

5-8 years of experience in FMCG sector handling national key accounts of similar scale in other organization is preferred.

Proven work experience as a Key account manager / Category Manager with FMCG / Retail formats.

Outstanding communication, listening, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Strong understanding of the product categories Lotus operates in along with short-term and long-term trends

Know the customer : Deeply understand customer behavior, develop new customer insights.

Advanced proficiency in English and Hindi.

Flexibility to travel as needed.
