Job Purpose
To lead the overall operations of the fashion retail store, ensuring achievement of sales targets, delivering exceptional customer experience, managing inventory effectively, and maintaining brand standards through efficient team management and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Drive the stores sales performance to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Analyze sales trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement action plans.
- Monitor category-wise and product-wise performance and optimize assortments accordingly.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained by the team.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer feedback and ensure continuous improvement in store service quality.
- Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve performance objectives.
- Conduct regular briefings, training, and performance reviews.
- Maintain proper staffing levels through effective scheduling and manpower planning.
- Store Operations
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including cash handling, billing, visual merchandising, and stock management.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and audit compliance.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and overall store ambience as per brand standards.
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Ensure optimum stock availability and minimize stock loss / shrinkage.
- Coordinate with warehouse / supply chain for timely replenishment.
- Manage stock audits, RTVs (Return to Vendor), and inter-store transfers.
- Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards
- Ensure visual displays and in-store promotions are executed as per brand guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in brand presentation and aesthetics across all sections.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and share daily / weekly / monthly sales and operations reports.
- Track KPIs such as ATV, UPT, conversion rate, and shrinkage.
- Provide actionable insights to management for performance improvement.

Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Retail Management preferred).58 years of experience in fashion / lifestyle retail, with at least 23 years in a Store Manager role.Strong understanding of retail KPIs, merchandising, and team leadership.Skills & Attributes
