Founded in 2010, YODA (Youth Organization in Defence of Animals) is a registered charity based in Mumbai dedicated to fostering humane relationships between humans and animals. YODA actively works to eliminate animal cruelty by providing medical care to abandoned and injured animals, rehabilitating mentally distressed animals, and offering shelter to homeless and elderly animals. The organization focuses on vaccination and sterilization of stray animals to control population growth and prevent disease transmission. Additionally, YODA leads educational and awareness efforts that promote coexistence and understanding between humans and animals.

Role Description

The Inventory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sanguem. The role involves managing stock levels of supplies, ensuring efficient inventory control, overseeing procurement processes, and maintaining accurate records for accountability. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring inventory, coordinating with vendors, implementing inventory management processes, and analyzing stock reports to ensure smooth operations. The Inventory Manager will also collaborate with various teams to ensure that all inventory operations meet organizational needs effectively.

Salary - Rs. 40,000 - 60,000 per month

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to oversee stock levels and procurement processes efficiently.
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate inventory data, generate reports, and implement effective management strategies.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with vendors, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, and adapt to dynamic situations.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory software tools is an advantage.
• Experience in managing inventory in an NGO, animal welfare, or similar operational setting is preferred.
