About the role :

LRN is seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Java) to drive the design and development of enterprise-grade applications. You will shape software architecture, establish best practices, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll architect backend systems, build RESTful APIs, and integrate modern technologies in an Agile environment. Strong expertise in Java, SOA, OOP with hands-on experience with Angular, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AI tools is a plus.

Requirements

What you'll do :

• Team Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
• Mentorship and Coaching : Coach the team, help identify and remove technical impediments and security vulnerabilities, and foster a process of continuous improvement.
• Technical Planning : Proactively work with the team to plan and achieve technical goals and participate in creating deployment plans for releases.
• Communication : Communicate effectively with project managers, business analysts, product owners, and the Architect Council to align on project timing and priorities.
• Code Quality and Performance : Maintain high code quality, organization, and automation standards while actively working on bug fixes and performance improvements.
• Architectural Guidance : Lead technology discussions and impact analysis for new functional and non-functional requirements, working closely with the Architect Council.
• Security Focus : Proactively mitigate security vulnerabilities within projects.
