Job description

What you’ll do…

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure cloud solutions.
  • Lead the development team for any data solutions / projects using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Design, build, and deploy data visualization and analytics solutions using Power BI and other Azure analytics services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Develop and implement cloud governance and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage cloud resource usage and costs.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their vision and strategy, translating it to the team.
  • Define key features and platform enhancements to meet business demands and manage the product backlog.
  • Lead strategic projects / initiatives to achieve desired outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Tech Lead or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to : Azure Virtual Machines Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure SQL Database Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Power BI Azure DevOps Azure Active Directory
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Expertise in data visualization and analytics tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in the cloud.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI services on Azure.
