• Working knowledge of Structured and Unstructured file formats.

• Working knowledge of Azure Synapse Workspace, such as Pipelines and Spark Notebooks, Pysparks.
• Functional / Regression Testing experience
• Test Automation experience
• Git
• Previously worked on data engineering projects in a testing capacity / ETL knowledge.
• Kafka
• Banking Experience
• Experience working with large data sets
• Analytical skills
• Visual Studio / C# / Java
• Good understanding of Data Governance concepts
• Knowledge of data architectures, data warehousing, datalake.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Ø Understand the requirement from HLD / LLD docs

Ø Understand the Hadoop / Mainframe ETL flow and prepare DEV / UAT environment in Teradata / Unix / Hadoop

Ø Space estimation and allocate space to Teradata DB’s in SIT / UAT

Ø Forklift the Seed data from production to test environment with the help of Teradata utilities

Ø Create forklift job in mainframe to forklift the production data to mainframe files with the help of Fast-Export Utility and NDM (copy) the data file to lower lane in Mainframe

Ø Set up ETL Jobs in regression effort and flow execution in Autosys and Mainframe

Ø Analyze and assign tasks to team members on a daily basis, active participation in DSU calls and defect review meetings

Ø Test case preparation with the help of Test Plan and reviewing with Dev team

Ø Create effective SQL scripts to validate the Change Data Capture logic in Teradata

Ø Automation script module creation in tosca to execute the regression scripts Execute test scripts and upload the results to Qtest / QC
