Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark. Proficiency in Scala, Python, Java, and SQL. Experience with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL. Familiarity with cloud data platforms and tools (for example, Databricks). Comfortable with Linux shell scripting and working in Agile environments. Knowledge of common data formats and storage types such as Delta tables, Parquet, CSV, and JSON.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, data wrangling, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in building data pipelines, preparing data for analysis, and designing impactful visualizations using Python libraries.
You will work closely with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to turn complex data into meaningful insights and visual stories.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL / ELT pipelines using modern big data technologies.
- Optimize data delivery, performance, and reliability across pipelines and storage systems.
- Automate operational processes, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with analytics, machine learning, and product teams to support data requirements and drive system improvements.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance best practices are followed.
