ETL Test Engineer - SQL / Python

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and integrity checks.
• Design, create, and execute detailed ETL test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough validation of ETL workflows to ensure accurate data transformation and loading.
• Track, report, and help resolve defects identified during testing cycles.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python for testing and data validation purposes.
• Collaborate with development teams using GitHub for version control and code management.
• Utilize Databricks for managing and testing data engineering workflows.
• Assist in building and managing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot data quality issues with a strong focus on accuracy and Skills & Qualifications :
• 3+ years of experience in SQL and ETL Testing with hands-on expertise.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Good working knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience in creating and executing ETL test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Basic knowledge of Databricks for data workflows.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory for data pipeline management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data quality Qualifications :
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and integration of test automation within them.
• Knowledge of other scripting languages and test automation frameworks.
