About Us

At CMX, we’ve spent over a decade pioneering large-scale tree plantation and ecosystem restoration projects in partnership with governments, corporates, and communities across India. By helping companies achieve their CSR and sustainability goals, we create measurable social and environmental impact at scale.

We are now looking for a dynamic CSR Partnerships & Fundraising Lead / Business Development Manager to strengthen our corporate partnerships, drive fundraising, and help us expand our green footprint across India.

What You’ll Do

1. CSR Fundraising & Partnerships

  • Identify, approach, and engage corporates, foundations, and institutions with active CSR programs aligned with environment, climate action, and sustainability.
  • Pitch large-scale forestation initiatives as CSR solutions with clear impact, transparency, and alignment to SDGs.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals, MoUs, and impactful pitch decks for potential partners.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with CSR heads, CXOs, sustainability leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for CSR partners, ensuring high satisfaction, repeat partnerships, and strong impact communication.
  • Provide timely reports, updates, and impact documentation to stakeholders.
  • 3. Strategy, Research & Outreach

  • Map CSR trends, budgets, and focus areas across industries.
  • Track CSR regulations and sustainability frameworks to align offerings.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to expand visibility within CSR and sustainability networks.
  • 4. Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with operations and plantation teams to ensure seamless alignment of project execution with donor commitments.
  • Coordinate with marketing / communications teams to develop proposals, donor reports, and case studies.
  • 5. Revenue & Impact Delivery

  • Drive fundraising targets through CSR partnerships.
  • Report progress, pipeline, and outcomes to leadership.
  • Ensure measurable, scalable, and transparent impact delivery on all projects.
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Experience : 4–8 years in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or sustainability-focused business development (NGO / impact / sustainability sector preferred).
  • Network : Strong connects with CSR heads, corporate foundations, and sustainability leaders.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s in Business, Sustainability, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Mindset : Self-driven, result-oriented, and passionate about environment, climate action, and social impact.
